Kathy Steele

Kathy Steele exerce en cabinet privé à Atlanta (Géorgie) auprès de patients traumatisés complexes avec des troubles dissociatifs depuis 1985. Elle est également professeur adjoint à l’université Emory. Kathy est membre et ancienne présidente de la Société internationale pour l’étude du traumatisme et de la dissociation (ISSTD). Elle a reçu plusieurs prix pour ses travaux cliniques et ses publications, dont le Lifetime Achievement Award 2010. Elle a reçu le Distinguished Alumni Award de l’université Emory en 2006. Elle est l’auteur de nombreuses publications dans le domaine du traumatisme et de la dissociation, dont trois livres, et de nombreux chapitres de livres et articles de revues à comité de lecture. Elle est régulièrement sollicitée en tant que consultante et superviseuse, et en tant que conférencière internationale sur des sujets liés au traumatisme, à la dissociation, à l’attachement et à la psychothérapie.
